Human Capital Development
DAR believes that Human Capital is its biggest asset and as such it has taken initiatives to undertake a sustainable human capital development to serves the company and the industry in the long run
In 2019 DAR started a graduate engineering program (GEP) and to-date many have graduated from the program and are working in the company as well as in the industry. There are currently pool of graduates in the program who will later join their seniors in the industry
In July 2020, DAR in collaboration with Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) undertook to provide 3 months industrial training program for 15 interns from faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as part of our human capital development program
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBLITY
DAR believes that not all human being has equal opportunities in life, therefore we took it upon us that we have the responsibilities to share with and support others who are less fortunate, especially now during the present COVID-19 pandemic that has impacted people's livelihood and wellbeing
In February 2021, a group of our staff undertook a CSR initiative to provide food for the less fortunate in Kuala Lumpur city centre. It touched our hearts that there are many amongst us who do not have food for basic meals and that surviving the day is their daily struggle. We hope that our small contribution will ease some of their burden and may tomorrow bring brighter days for them
